  • “Stronger Together”

Over the past three years, we have been hearing that we are “Stronger Together.” Join us as staff, family members, and individuals share with us what Stronger Together means to them.
  • “Guardianship: A Legacy of Love”
The NYSARC Guardianship Program is one of the most unique models of its kind in the country. This short video presentation provides a glimpse into how guardianship is viewed by different members of The Arc New York family, including people with disabilities who want or already have NYSARC serving as their guardian, Guardianship Committee members, staff, and family members.
  • Trust Services 50th Anniversary Recognition
NYSARC Trust Services began trust administration in 1972, with a single trust designed to support individuals with developmental disabilities and their families, Fifty years later, NYSARC Trust Services now offers a full range of trust services and has expanded the mission of The Arc New York by helping to create opportunities for people with any type of disability. Please join us as we recognize the NYSARC Trust Services for 50 years of dedicated support of the individuals supported by our Chapters!
  • Special Recognition: Alvin Turk Family Contribution
Alvin (Al) Turk was the father of Eric Turk, a person with an intellectual disability. As a parent advocate and early pioneer of the Organization, Al Turk fought for community-based programs for his son, Eric, as well as for all those who lived in institutional settings. Upon the passing of Al and his son Eric, a portion of the remaining trust funds are now being used to support the Turk Family Legal Assistance Fund, which will help to defray the cost of establishing primary guardianships through Chapters of The Arc New York. Please join us as we recognize and thank the Turk family for their continued support of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.
